Welcome to the Sonsie Music Website!

Sonsie Music is a professional music group especially for primary and nursery school children. We specialise in writing and performing theatrical musical stories for children aged 3 - 11.
sonsie – adj. Scots; cheerful, good-natured, lucky, fortunate, happy, thriving, jolly, fun.
What are we up to at the moment?
In July we gave the premiere performances of our new musical story for younger children (nursery - Primary 3). It's a tuneful version of A Moose in the Hoose: A Scots Counting Book by James Robertson and Matthew Fitt, beautifully illustrated by Karen Sutherland.
A Moose in the Hoose is now available for booking in schools and venues - go to the Contact Sonsie Music page to get in touch with us.
Due to popular request, we are developing a Scots musical story for older primaries too! It'll be ready for the new year 2009.
The development of A Moose In The Hoose has been supported by
